I just bought an SRT coupe over the weekend in N.J. from a collector car dealer. I started out like you trying to hold around $15-16K. However, I am such a nut about detailing that any scratch bothers me.

I was able to pick up a very clean Airo blue coupe with 10,780 miles for $16,900 and it still has balance of warranty until Oct. 09. The dealer even had it driven down and delivered to me on Mother's day.

Need to check out the items pointed out by the other members in their reply to you.

PS: I did look at a car in Richmond VA it is on AutoTrader by private seller. It is Saphire blue coupe. It has approx. 14,400 miles. It had two to three small ding on the roof?. The rest of the car was very clean and drove nice. He was asking $18,800 and I believe you can get it for $17,200 or lower. He even offered to deliver it to me on his trailer for only $100 to cover gas. I live near D.C. so this is approx. 2 hr drive for me.
