I had a chance to crawl under the CF today, then I came back and looked at your pics. There's not a heck of a lot under there to attach to, a couple of bolting points near the rear end but not much near the bumper. Can you post a pic of your attachment points or maybe just describe how you attached the unit to the car.

As for the tounge weight in regards to a dirtbike. The dirtbike is under 200 lbs which is the limit for a class 1 hitch. So me and the dirtbike with great would be under 400lbs total. Keeping under the 450 which I had already taken into consideration. Also want to use it for my 2 bike hitch mounts Thule bike rack. So I definately need the receiver box, whereas his setup is just about the 1 7/8" ball. But same concept as for the mounting under the XF.
