Default WD-40 for throttle body

..I just sprayed some WD-40 in my 05 roadster throttle body. For a couple of weeks now when I get on the gas from a stand still it would lag. Almost like a vapor lock for something. It would lung foward for a brief moment...maybe buck twice.. then down the road it would go.

I don't have this problem at road speed only from a dead ( or near dead stop). I got concerned and several things came to mind. My fuel injectors clean ? Some "chip" going out somewhere? I reset the throttle pedal ( drive by wire as explained in the forums ) but that didn't seem to help any.

A guy at work told me that what he had to do in the past was to spray some WD-40 down in the throttle body for a few seconds. This seemed to clear his issue he was having that from what he understood sounded allot like what I was undergoing.

Anyone else heard this before? WD-40 in the throttle body ? Did it work ?

Thanks in advance...............
