Just thought I would let everyone know I think I fixed my top . It was the sensor on the convertible top frame above the passenger window. It's the one that senses when you push the front of top up after it's been unlatched. If you look up under the top material on the outside above the passenger window ,you will see the switch and a little plastic slider thing that works it. Mine was all pasted up with a white grease of some kind that dried up to a stiff paste. Switch didn't sound good either.Sounded like it had absorbed some of that grease too. Took it off and cleaned soaked in electrical contact cleaner, and put back together, with just a little lube on slider thinge.. and top has worked every time since.......
