Default Oil Pressure Too High ?

Greeetings Fellow Forum Members,
Once again I seek your assitance with an unusual problem.
I have a warning message coming through the odometer. A picture of an oil can and the letters "HI". I looked it up in the manual and it says the oil in the crankcase is over filled. I check my aftermarket oil pressure gauge (which has it own sending unit) and it's pegged at 110 psi. at all RPM. I had the oild changed and had the oil going back in verified against the car specs (and the dipstick) The oil level is at the dipstick mark but I still have the warning in the odometer and the 110 psi on my gauge.
Has anyone else experienced this situation? Sounds like I am heading back to the dealer (under warrenty) but I would appreciate any info on this condition. Does the oil pump need replacement?
Thanks,
mark
