Here is a diagram of the sensor. I'd start by seeing what happens when the +5V sensor supply wire is disconnected. If that doesn't work, next I'd disconnect the steering angle signal wire. I don't know that I'd do the mess with disconnecting the sensor ground wire since it will probably still find ground through the chassis. Hope this helps and let us know how it works.
Thank you for the diagram, I"m probably going to try it tomorrow so I'll put pics and results up as soon as I'm done.
Also does anyone know if it has to use 50 amp switches and relays? I used a 50 amp switch but there is no relay on it as of right now because I could only find 30 amp relays at my local auto parts stores. I'm going to order 2 50 amp ones online, but I would like to know if it would be safe to use the 30's.
