Quick how to and some pics of how I did it:
1. Order the emblem that is made for the Charger SRT, Challenger SRT, etc. (check with member sowardcustoms or eBay).
2. Break off or cut off the four tabs on the back of the emblem.
3. Use masking or painters tape to cover all of the parts you do not want coated.
4. Spray the back, sides, top, and bottom of the emblem with Plasti-Dip black spray (Home Depot has it) and let it dry. This will just keep the emblem from scratching the grill if any rubbing occurs.
5. Remove the front grill. Clean the slats that you want the emblem to mount to and the back of the dry emblem with rubbing alcohol or some sort of cleaner/adhesive promoter.
6. Adhere some of the 3M double sided foam super strength auto molding tape (Wal-Mart, Advance, etc. has it) to the back of the emblem where it will mount to the slats. Hold some firm pressure on it for a good while. I used little pressure clamps.
7. Peel the red backing off of the back side of the tape and stick the emblem on the grill. I used clamps to hold it tightly for a couple of hours or so.
8. Once I removed the clamps, I added two other bits of the tape as extra security from the back of the emblem to the side of each slat. Hold some pressure for a while to get good adhesion.
9. Check the emblem to make sure it is secure.
10. Reinstall grill and realize that it fits and looks great while questioning why the 300C SRT8 and the SRT6 didn't have them in the first place.
I have driven mine 3 days since I put the emblem on and it has not budged. However, if you do this and yours goes flying off, don't blame me.
