How to Always on Electric Coolant Pump SRT


FACT:
Your heat exchanger coolant pump doesn't run ALL of the time!

This mod will have your coolant pump running whenever the key is in the ON/RUN position.

PARTS LIST
15" Wire
1 Ring Terminal
1 Spade Terminal
2 Female Connectors

TOOLS
¼” Ratchet
Extension
7mm socket
Wire Stripper
Wire Crimper

PROCESS

REMOVE THE NEGITIVE TERMINAL FROM YOUR BATTERY!

1. Open fuse box cover.



2. Remove the second fuse box cover.


Note: Fuse 13 is for the electric coolant pump.




3. Take note of the small nut in the back of the fuse box. This terminal is HOT whenever the key is in the on position.



4. Pull up on this module and move it out of the way. This will provide better access to the working area.





5. Make this wire. Approx 10" wire with a small ring terminal at one end and a female spade terminal at the other. Put a piece of shrink wrap on the wire or have some electrical tape nearby.



6. Don't drop that nut! I used a magnet to take the nut off once it was loose.



7. Feed the 10" wire under the little plastic strip. Put the ring terminal on the HOT while key on terminal. Tighten nut.



8. Make a 5" wire with a male spade at one end and a female spade terminal at the other end. Put a piece of heat shrink on or have some electrical tape nearby.
