Re: How to Always on Electric Coolant Pump SRT
Here's the way I did mine back when I did my coolant isolation mod. pretty much the same but a little cleaner and no dangling fuses.
in the schemtaic below - you want to open the grey connector (#E) and pull the red/blue wire (pin 7) that feeds to the input of the before mentioned fuse #13. close the grey connector (make sure the other two wires are in the correct positions) the connectors and pinouts are well labled.
Now, slip some shrink tube over the silver connector/socket and down the wire. (I used two shrink tubes - the second one a little larger then the other).
Now solder the same wire you made (minus the spade connector) in the Tighed's write up to the bottom of the silver connector/socket near the red/blue wire - this way you can de-solder it if you want to go back to stock and still have the socket clean to plug back in.
Slip the shrink tube over the silver connector socket and apply heat. Then slip the second shrink tube and heat (if you want double insulation).
Now connect the round lug as mentioned before to the +12V switched terminal and there you go - same result - just a tad neater and cleaner.
