It depends on what your after. The SC pulley will do for most members out there who just want to go fast. If you want to be any quicker than 12.1's which is crazy fast than you'll want a crank pulley. Like I said most members are content with the SC pulley. If those of us with 178 pullies listed all of our 11 second passes on dragtimes it would take up the 1st 2 pages. Speed is addicting and at some point that sc pulley won't be enough. The 178 is the only pulley that's been around longer than the srt6.
Tell me why if the Code 3 turns the supercharger the charger the same RPM and boost that the 178 pulley that fits the crank, would be one iota quicker or faster. There should be no difference in power. In fact, the crank pulley would be turning everything else faster which would rob power if you didn't slow down the accessories being driven. Theres no way you can convince me theres a difference if it's turning the supercharger the same RPM. Now lets hear about the different tunes. As I would also like to see if they really make a difference with CAI and pulley already in place in true street trim, not cooled and iced down intakes and supercharger at the strip.
