Default Powertrain has me scratching my head...Hmmm...

So last week, I had the weepy transmission gasket replaced along with connectors / plug adapters. They also replaced the fluid with one quart of ATF transmission fluid. I brought in a copy of the TSB and the car has the 7/70 Powertrain warranty. I assumed the entire job would be covered by the warranty, but was charged $110 for parts and labor. When I questioned the bill, the service clerk stated that the part itself is under $100, and therefore I must pay. I was happy that the work was done and paid the bill, yet I continue to wonder if this job should have been free. I guess I am at their mercy, seeing that I don't have a copy of what specific items are covered with the Powertrain. Could someone please provide this info. I did a search and came up empty. Oh, one more thing.....They replaced the fluid, yet failed to replace the cap with another locking tab cap. Should this have been done also, or did I need to request the change?

Thanks to all,

Monty
