The airspace is too small for anything larger than an 8". Thats why the 10's I had in it just did not sound right. The JL 8W7 will not fit either way you mount it, it is just too tall.
. I ran the 8w6s in it and actually like the new Kicker Solo 8" that just came out. They would fit fine and handle a ton of power. If you would like, PM me your phone number and I will call you to discuss.
