Default Puncture repair experiance

Well it looks like my near side rear tire has a puncture, tire warning light this morning second time in 7 days and the tires is down 10 pounds again. So the next question is where would you take this to get repaired bearing in mind the 'tire sensor'. Can a Costco or Tire center do this effectively without screwing up the sensor, what do i need to tell them to do? or is it best to have the dealer fix it? I gues the same question for if they need to replace the tire can i use the existing sensor or do I need to get a new one re-calibrated. I know when they usually fix tires they unscrew the valve and throw it, thats where i think there may be a problem.

Thanks all for your help
