Default Re: Earlier Chrysler 2 Seater

Should I get into this? Anyway, in 1990 (only) , Chrysler built another rare performance car. The Chrysler TC was based on the Le Baron J body. But Chrysler built a few Le Baron GTC's with the Turbo IV (Shelby engineered) engine, with a Getrag 5-speed manuel. They built 132 convertibles and 123 Coupes, before cancelling this model. I know about this car because I bought a coupe new, and still have it. This is truly a hot performer that hardly anyone knows about, except the ones that drove them. Of course, they did have a back seat of limited space, so in essence, as far as I was concerned, alot like a two seater. This car was capable of 140 MPH. When I get my Crossfire, soon, I will be anxious to compare it to my Le Baron.
