I never really downshift into 1st, so I'm not talking about when your moving. In fact you shouldn't ever downshift into 1st in this car unless your at a virtual crawl. LOL I just reread this message before this, and you say its okay to downshift into first if your going less than 20mph? LOLL.. mine CANT downshift into first unless I'm going 1 or 2 mph...

I'm talking about sitting at a light and trying to put it into first, it doesn't want to go sometimes, you need to push it through the resistance.

Same thing today when I tried putting it into second then first, same EXACT thing. It wouldn't go into second without the same exact resistance. However, I've never noticed resistance when going from first to second.

It seems to be something about standing still and trying to get it into gear. Personally I'm getting annoyed at it.

BTW I think its the early cars who have a similar problem, not you guys with brand new ones.
