That IS a lot of miles for a Crossfire - but the price reflects that, IMO.

Timing chain? I have only heard of ONE breaking, that was in a Pontiac in 1975.

Everything on these cars seems pricey to deal with, they all warned me about that before I bought mine. But then, I know two owners personally that have done LITTLE in the way of repairs - and both are over 40,000 miles, one is over 60,000.

As far as financial advice (and I have GREAT credit, but had TERRIBLE credit after my divorce - never thought I'd see the light of day again!), I think Kim nailed it. If you can put enough down, you can finance a car. But it IS a used car and it'll cost you - I have a credit score of 763 and put 1/3 down on Little Debbie and STILL ended up paying almost 8%! Seems high to me.
