Iam doing a 185 and have used the bolt head and nut with success, the belt on my 185 IS NOT TOO TIGHT. Between the s/c and alternator I can push down the belt 1 or more inches with a finger with moderate pressure, (deflect the belt). Woody

Too tight kills accessories and their shaft bearings............
