It goes under the hood, up front, near the other pulleys.

Too tight kills accessories and their shaft bearings............
Hmmm, that worries me. Mine is pretty tight- I don't have that kind of movement on the belt with "moderate pressure".

Woody might have a 'moderately' bigger arm than you.....

i just installed my pulley saver kit. I think the coolant lines on the srt6 run slightly differently then the c32. The pulley near the alternator runs dangerously close too the coolant lines, another c32 owner claimed the belt rubbed on his coolant line.

You can fix it if you raise the coolant lines coming from the intercooler a little but then the coolant line is touching the intake valve cover.

I didn't like the idea of the engine heating the coolant, so i use the alternator pulley from the code3 belt wrap kit and it was the perfect size.

Just a word of caution for the c32 owners out there.

Your belt layout is closer and thus an issue. I had my belts back and supported to avoid any contact due to belt flap or resonances in the belt. Woody

Photos are of my inital workup of the support brace in 2008, I now have the stainless polished bar, w/o rust hee hee

well the code3 alternator pulley is working out well. I might relocate my coolant lines in the future to run the larger pulley saver pulley in the future.

But my main concern was getting rid of the supercharger idler pulley. I went through two in the last 6 months. I like the idea of the larger slower moving idler pulley.

can u use a large zip tie to pull the coolant lines over 1/2 an inch for better clearance?

TemjinX2, you must have changed your hoses or routing. The factory routing runs behind the pulley to the passenger side. I couldnt figure out why you were having problems and went and looked at mine. My hoses dont even come over the pulley. I separated my IC cooling but didnt change any hose routing except the overflow line and feed into the top of the coolant tank.

My hoses are stock...keep in mind, i have a C32 not a srt6. I believe the c32 hoses run slightly differently then the srt6.

for some reason, after only 5 months, my middle idler pulley (LET idler with upgraded bearing) was going out. replaced my pulleys with this kit. very impressed with the kit and no longer concerned about bearings going out.

thanks to Rob for lots of help with the install, providing pics, detailed instructions, and even a phone call....not to mention quick shipping (2 days)

i recommend this to anyone! thanks again rob!

MikeR sent me the simple solution. add a nut to the pulley nut as a jamnut! did it countless times on my harley. should have thought of it myself!!
Digging up the past here,

What size jam nut is this exactly?
