Well, never intended to do that. Took a ladyfriend out for a ride tonight.

Guy in an SUV wanted to show me that my little car is a fart in the wind... Beeped at me at a red light and motioned to race him.

He had me at first, when I realize he wanted to show me up - told the lady with me, "Watch this" - before I knew it, we'd left him behind.

WHY did I bother? Since when do I do things like this? I dont' know. Least it was in a stretch of road that begins a limited access/no driveways/no intersections section of road.

Well, I took off, tach got to around 5 in first three gears when I realized how hard I was pushing it.... made up my mind to back off and realized I was doin almost 70 in a 55 AND that he was WAY behind me - I mean WAY back.

Really don't want to push my little toy like that again... but Pearlie was laughing! She said speed didni't bother her - just didn't want me to get a ticket.
