that would be where I would start...we are opening and closing that door all the time, exposed to weather, cleaners...I am always careful not to spray cleaners near switches and such...it funny with electronics, how sensitive they are to list bit of corrosion, either lose ground, or contact, but I will leave that to the electrical engineers on here..
