Default Tires ad nauseum

I searched all three forums for tire discussions and the best was here in the SRT6. According to what I have read, it appears the fronts can comfortably go from 225 to 235 and the rears from 255 to 275.

Would I be correct in assuming that going from a stock 225/40-18 to a 235/40-18 would give me a slightly larger diameter tire? Are those of you running this size experiencing any clearance issues and does it "fill" the wheelwell a little more?

I read (in a post) that going from the stock 255/35-19 to a 275/35-19 would increase the diameter about an inch and could throw off the angle to the front. Would going with 235/40-18 front and 275/35-19 rear restore that angle, or at least keep it close? Any other clearance issues? Would I be better off with 265s?

I'm looking for a little wider tire (like that look) and want to fill out the wheel well a little more. But I don't want to risk anything hitting when I turn or when bouncing over road expansion joints.
