Sorry, but you must be driving miss daisy. Z rated tires tires are designed to last 15-20K because of the sticky rubber. I am at about 9K and will only have a few thousand left in mine (falken 452s)....
No one ever said that the Continental's were sticky, after all.
Oddly enough, there are worse tires out there than them.
They don't really do anything well, to be perfectly honest, but if you don't push the boundaries in any way, and you don't drive in the rain, then they are perfectly fine tires for your driving needs.
