Yeah those 18" and 19" tires are real movers from the parts department.
Many cars come with various tires, the makers bid on a contract to supply them. Have the right price at the right time and you get the contract for `x' number of tires.
Spending time to buy tires and swap them out is hardly worth the effort. Putting tires on a car and forgetting to change the makers pamphlet in the owners package would really look stupid.
I have the Conti's they are just fine with me for now.
