OUr fans operate at about 4 volts average power and when hot goes up to about 8 volts. 12 is way too much and it will not last, but dont take my word, give it a try there sport.
OH yeah youll need heavy gauge wires to keep from melting the conductors.

Been there, done that with the fans.
Same thing happens if you hook up the supercharger clutch full time!
Guess how I know?!
