Blower Control Runs All the Time
The blower control in my 04 Crossfire runs for more than 30 minutes even when the ignition key is turned off and removed. I read several threads that suggested a faulty blower control may have a tendency to be shorted out. Accordingly, I bought a used one from LKQ and when I installed it, it did the same as the original one. LKQ promised to send me a replacement on the assumption that the used one is also shorted out. I know many of the Crossfire owners have experienced a similar situation, I wonder if the fault is the blower control or the blower regulator. I am surprised at the fact that Mercedes SLK which uses the same units does not experience problems with the climate control like the Crossfire. I would appreciate the information.
