Took my vacation out west and ended up with a 2010 mustang for a rental.

Flew into Reno, picked up the car and drove to Lake Tahoe. From there I took Route 50 to San Francisco. If you have never made that drive, the first 50 miles out of Tahoe is some of the most beautiful country in the USA. Descend from 7,000 feet down to sea level on a two lane twisting road.

Stang not my XF, but I was impressed. Even though it was a V6 it had plenty of power and handled very well. Tight, no squeaks or rattles and the interior was nicely finished, even leather interior.

Also got 30 mpg for the 400 miles I drove.

It sure would have been nice to have had my XF for the trip, but I must admit the Stang wasn't bad.
