Re: Problem with law enforcement!!!
I hear you cassidyrj1, I was stopped in my car in my early twenties and driven to the police station. After an hour of questions and me wondering WTF was going on, they found out the car, my car, had been reported stolen. They thought I had stolen my own car.
My son drove down to NYC to see the Boss the other weekend and at the border he (27 years old), his wife, two friends and the car were searched. It took an hour before they were on the road again. They do not look like dope heads or terrorists. He has been stopped many times in his car when he was younger for no reason at all. No one stops me now as I am too old to be any problem, I just wish I looked like one.
The last time I was stopped was when I slid through a stop sign on a sheet of ice on the road, I did not get a ticket as I showed the officer why he should phone the township instead of giving out tickets. I later went to the station and complained about his attitude and his lack of common sense. I left them laughing when I told them he would not be making detective.
Just suck it up and keep the lips sealed, leave the complaining and lip to old geezers like me.
