Once the newest-gen systems came out and ran 720/1080 HD I made the switch to console gaming only. It was a PITA getting used to COD2 with a controller. It's like second nature now but it's still not as natural as keyboard and mouse.
Finally, I feel the console systems are a better bang for the buck. Keeping up with technology on the pc (graphics cards, SLi, etc) is quite expensive. Plus you never had incompatible hardware setups. Just pop it in and it works.
PS I saw Fallout on my friends PC with the high-res textures loaded...wow! Looks amazing.
You couldn't have said it any better. I was the same way! I was a hardcore PC gamer before the PS3 came out. Having to upgrade your system every year to play the latest games gets very pricey!! IMO, PC games have more depth than console games have. This may change soon though.....Fallout 3 was such a great game!! Definitely on my top 5 list.
