and the problems cont...
so to add to my already frustrating experience of having hoods on national back order and my car still looking terrible with the damage. I had bought a brand new set of goodyear eagle f1's back the beginning of august for fronts and rears. since then i had put 7000 miles on them all highway going back and forth from norfolk to my fiancees house in ny. so i was driving home last weekend and its raining im driving about 60mph down i81 i start to hydroplane i dont think much of it at first then it continues so i get a little worried and pull over and start to look at my tires well my fronts have about half tread so i was not worried then i go to the rear and to my shock they were completely bald. honestly they looked like racing slicks with some groves on the side then i rub my hand down the tire where the groves used to be and i get some chewed up rubber on my hand like it was deteriorating thats both rear tires. ive never seen anything like that. so i brought them back to the place i got them from and asked they said it looked almost like they were burnt out bc they were slick in the back and the rubber was peeling. anyways since goodyear does not offer a mileage warranty there was nothing they could do and i should contact goodyear with a complaint bc no way should they be bald at 7k miles especially highway miles...in all realism though in your experiences do you think goodyear is going to be willing to resolve the situation? or am i most likely screwed?
