1. Since I have a base coupe, I had no rear speakers at all. I ran wiring through the kickpanels to my aftermarket deck. I custom built mounts to put the 6.5" midbass driver into the factory sub location (which was empty because I did not have the Infiniti system) and mounted those rear tweeters right underneath the seatbelt cutouts. I replaced the front speakers with infiniti components in the factory location (already a great cutout for the tweeter, no need to modify door panels) and left the factory wiring in tact, for now.

2. No need to carry wiring through the door, it tucks right up under the kickpanel and is very easy to hide.
