Yes I cut the tabs off. Used a mini cut off dremel disk. The truck bed liner will add 10 pounds to the hood weight
but look sooo good.

have you had any issues with the hood strut not keeping the hood up with the added weight? i really like this idea! did you remove the hood to get it done?
