But think if a random person had a gun and shot the killer would they be considered a hero. Im not trying to put her down or say it is a stupid thing but I think she is considered a hero because she is a cop.
My point would be, that most law enforcement officers would put themselves in danger of mortal harm to "Protect and Serve". I am not sure if they think it out, or just do it out of training.
It is a job most people would not even consider doing. It is mostly a thankless job.
I for one am glad there are those who will answer that call.
And as with any profession, there are those who are just an embarrassment to the good ones. I ask, Why do we only remember the bad ones?
