So i"m probably going to get hounded for posting this, but i'm goin to anyway. Got a nail in my stock continentals and just decided to go ahead and replace all four with the Michelin A/S Plus' which will be mounted tomorrow. Anyway, decided to have a little fun today since it didn't really matter what came of the rear tires so I did a little sliding around in a vacant parking lot just to experiment with the car's limitations, etc. Turned off the TC, padded the brarke, and blipped the throttle. I went into a spin but the traction control (which is turned off, mind you) kicks right on in and kills the gas.
Not that this is something I do regularly, but why does it still kick in like this?
Thanks! I'll let everyone know how i like the Michelins
