Good advice in these last several posts! Yea, I got good raises from 2000 to 2005 - that's what really gets me - I TRUSTED him to be good to his word.

And I think he meant to be good to it, but he's lost his drive to lead the company and aggressively work towards success. This is not only hard on me, but real hard on the son in law - who is more trapped here than I am.

And yea, I have asked for a raise -early this year we had this discussion. Didn't get anywhere.

It's not a bad place to stay for now, and I intend to return to school for networking / windows server this January (and school is a mile from the house).

But it is time to move on. Just today, I had to struggle with a Public Safety radio system problem - because the company does not own a decent spectrum analyzer or ANY sweep generator and I really need one to get to the bottom of what I am chasing. It's just so discouraging.
