Today's "Pizza Mystery":

Ok, I'm doing a little digging around in my car (described in my sigline). Now, after taking that trim panel thing out from around the shift (that contains the left and right window switches) I took a close look at that piece.

Flipping the thing over, I see that on the DRIVER'S side, ahead of the window switch, is a cutout and holding tabs for a mystery switch. The pocket that holds this mystery switch is the same length but a bit wider than the window switch.

So, what switch goes here? Does anyone know what they were planning for? The black part glued to the bottom of the chromed trim panel has a place for a third switch - obviously they were planning on using the black frame with a DIFFERENT chrome trim panel.

I just gotta know - what switch goes here and in what model/version of the car????? I'd like to see if that trim panel is available and I'll order it. MY switch could, possibly, go there and look "original".

(Oh, and the passenger side has no extra provision for a switch, not that it matters, just pointing that out.)
