Default Re: Dimming Mirrors

If your side mirrors are adjusted properly you will not get any light in your eyes from vehicles behind you from the side mirrors. You have a rear view mirror for vehicles behind you, the side mirrors are for looking at what is beside you and behind you in the other lane.
If you can see your own car in your side mirrors they are not set correctly. If you want to look at you car stop and look at it from outside the car.
With the mirrors set correctly you do not have to even turn your head. This does take a bit of getting used to, once you are confident with it you can keep your eyes on the road ahead more of the time, with just a quick glance at the mirrors.
