Mine is still there, but I have determined that it only happens on certain road surfaces. I have directional-biased tires (Falken FK452's) and reversed the rears and found that the thrum goes away.

I looks to me that the tires "get in sync" every .8-1.2 seconds (speed dependent) and sing together.

I put them back to rotation correct and it came right back. Beats me!
