Car only has 27,000 miles, treat it like a baby, really surprised this happened. Thought the mercedes engine was supposed to be bullet proof.

Anyway;

Any one else have this problem?

I assume it's under warranty, is this a big repair?

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks!!
It is a matter of luck. I have 04 Crossfire with 54000 miles and the cover is still dry. I have 98 Mercedes ML320 with the same engine as the Crossfire with 190000, yes 190K, and the cover still dry, knock on wood. Tighting the cover bolts may do the trick. Good luck.
