Resurrecting this post to say I am considering purchasing Nitto Invo tires for the rear. My research has convinced me the Invo is quiet, reasonably soft, and sticky. Being quiet is really important to me. I think 285/30's will be best. The 285 will give me the width plus going to a 30 will keep my rotations per mile at almost the same as the original 255/35's (i.e. 800 rotations per mile). I don't need to fill the wheel well because I lowered my SRT-6 with 1.3 inch lower springs in the rear (not the front). This leveled the car so that it no longer looks like the rear is sticking up in the air. And improved the looks. Plus, it helped with understeer. A 285 will give me more rubber to the road without going overboard with something that doesn't belong on my wheels.
