Put it in first punch it a lil...let off the gas and look down...it will shift up even though ya only goosed it a lil...but if ya old the lever to the left goose it a lil and wow it stays in first.....thats how I can play with the throttle smoking the tires and....well you figure it out just try it.
I've looked plenty of times, and it doesn't upshift in any of the gears when I take off from a start ... it'll be sitting at 5000+ rpm if I just floor it from a stop and then let off a little. I'll try it out again though later this afternoon if the rain holds off
