I wonder what his take would be on the situation of today. In Chicago more black children die at the hands of other black children than did by the hands of the bigots from his era. It seems that not a week goes by that we don't read about some kid that got dissed feeling the need to shoot up some other group of kids. I certainly don't have any answers. Perhaps he might.
Not to carry on the political tone, but I suspect he'd have kind and gentle words for the current situation - but that he would not mince words, either. I also think he'd be heartbroken to see how his dream has been compromised.
On the other hand, with a black president, black supreme court justices, black CEO's, etc... he would see much to be encouraged by. (And proud of.)
