Noise sounds like a loose part that is buzzing at idle. Hit the gas to see if the sound changes timber with a change in neutral engine speed. Might be that simple.

Easy old school lift is to drive with two wheels on the curb and slide under to see whats up. You can on a quiet street drive front wheels up only to see better.

NOw this is old school and that means that you have the old school belly. But it is sturdy and safe to be under with the ENGINE OFF parking brake on and in gear. No one is in car and your the only touching it. But it is easy to see big issues.

Woody and I still fit in the DRY gutter if need be, Ha Ha.

Actually that is how I used to do oil changes, starter motor swaps, and even freeze plugs on my 1959 Tbird I put a 406 into.
