Eh, that reply still sounds quite fishy ... the only good response would be that he (or someone) posted pictures of the wrong supercharger on the ebay auction. Then, even if that wasn't the case, he could've sent out a lower mileage supercharger to the winning bidder and kept his reputation.
and why wait until after the auction is over? Nobody knows whether to bid or not until the information is all out

... and what other info could he throw out there besides what he posted?
A large single turbo 2jz in an SLK sounds interesting though, lol.
