As this is my 1,000th post, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what I have gained by being associated with this wonderful community. As a newby, I was treated with patience, and guided as to how to best help myself on this site. I spent numerous hours scouring through this site, learning everything that I can about this car that I have become impassioned with. I have received invaluable advice from knowledgeable members that have helped guide me in the decisions that I have made to date with regards to modifying my car. I have gotten to the point that I feel like I have valuable advice that I can and do pass on to other members. I have made many friends. Some I have had the pleasure of meeting in person. Others.... I hope to meet in the near future. There are some that I will never meet, but I will still call friend. There has even been one that has returned from the grave. LOL

The thing that strikes me as the most important though...... Is that my car and this forum are a package that would not be complete if one were missing. This forum has helped to fuel my passion for this car, and my car has inspired me to want to share with this community. The two components together make the experience of owning one of these beauties a truly memorable experience.

I would like to thank everyone here that has helped me, laughed with me, disagreed with me, shared their time, pm'ed me, sent me things in the mail without being asked and all the other things that make this place so special.

I look forward to the next thousand posts and beyond.
