I guess I just don't understand. I came into this community, and have tried to be a positive influence. I have made numerous friends, and feel like I have more than gone out of my way to answer others questions when I have the ability. I have applauded others accomplishments, complimented them on the things they have done with their cars. Cheered them on with their dreams of changes to come. I have reached out to individuals on a personal level, and have been embraced for it. Those that I have interacted with know who you are, and I thank you for making this experience one that has given me many memories I will cherish.

I post a thread extolling my feelings towards this community and the minute milestone I have reached in doing so. As much as I enjoy my experience here, I just cannot understand the petty bullshit that continues to proliferate this site, and the individuals that have nothing better to do in their lives than to spread their negativity and try to instigate others into their childish diatribes.

I have made a pact with myself to refrain from making any future posts that are not of a positive nature, and anyone is welcome to call me out should I do so, but I had to get this off my chest. I can only hope that others can see what the negative influences in this community are doing to us as a group and start to do what is in their ability to change that direction.

Thanks for letting me rant. Peace out!

In the beginning this forum was great because nobody knew anything about our cars and you couldn't get any parts. Now the forum is great because nobody knows anythings about our cars and you can't get any parts.

This is one of those quality over quantity posts.

Well, I can tell you how to install springs, replace brake pads, install a CAI, install a pleizo buzzer in the fuze box to chirp when you lock/unlock your doors, install a capacitor in line in the door speakers to reduce the bass going into those speakers, install a code 3 pulley, and install a crankshaft position sensor. I am in the process if figuring out the most effective way to seperate my cooling system. I have learned quite a bit about our various computer systems. I feel like I am better equiped to be able to daignose many issues that could occur with my car, and would definitely use this site as a resource prior to even thinking about taking my car to a dealer. I have found this site to be full of very knowledgeable people on these cars, and have found people to be very helpful in finding parts for them. Just the other day, I was able to save a hundred dollars on a CPS thanks to a forum member. There are plenty more things that I have learned from the knowledeable people on this site, so I respectfully disagree with your supposed quality over quantity post.

OK. Would it make any difference to you if I told you that I was trying for humor. I probably would have dumped the car long ago if not for the forum.

Sure Uncle Al. sorry about that. Oh, by the way, I saw your reply in the post about Jane Fonda where you said you would stand in line to **** on her grave..... I would certainly be there with you, and fighting my way to the front. I was 12 when she was doing that ****. It made an impression on me then, and it still stings in my memory today. My dad was in the Air Force during Vietnam, and we were in Japan from 67 to 70. I remember watching planes come in to the runway smoking and riddled with holes. They would patch them up and send them back out.

Thanks

You also tried to help me when my Roadster's trunk lid got jammed halfway between "open" and "closed".
