As this is my 1,000th post, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what I have gained by being associated with this wonderful community. As a newby, I was treated with patience, and guided as to how to best help myself on this site. I spent numerous hours scouring through this site, learning everything that I can about this car that I have become impassioned with. I have received invaluable advice from knowledgeable members that have helped guide me in the decisions that I have made to date with regards to modifying my car. I have gotten to the point that I feel like I have valuable advice that I can and do pass on to other members. I have made many friends. Some I have had the pleasure of meeting in person. Others.... I hope to meet in the near future. There are some that I will never meet, but I will still call friend. There has even been one that has returned from the grave. LOL

The thing that strikes me as the most important though...... Is that my car and this forum are a package that would not be complete if one were missing. This forum has helped to fuel my passion for this car, and my car has inspired me to want to share with this community. The two components together make the experience of owning one of these beauties a truly memorable experience.

I would like to thank everyone here that has helped me, laughed with me, disagreed with me, shared their time, pm'ed me, sent me things in the mail without being asked and all the other things that make this place so special.

I look forward to the next thousand posts and beyond.

I've only had the seat heater go out.Got it replaced 14 months ago and has since gone out again. Hardly ever use it. What a piece of junk that seems to be.

If I took it the wrong way, I apologize. I pride myself on doing whatever I can to help others in this community out. I probably spend too many hours on here doing so. It just hit me the wrong way when someone that I have never interacted with in the past made a comment like that. I love razzing many members here, and love when I am razzed as well. I do not know ws6vert, and therefore did not take it as a razz.

On a lighter note. Were you able to dig yourself out of the snow today?

 

Haha yeah! Crossfire is still parked for a day or two... But the sun popped out just long enough to get temps above freezing. The car had roughly 3" of snow on top of it, and THAT was encapsulated with 1/4" of ice. I broke the sheets into 2-foot-square chunks and let them slide off the surfaces of the car...

As for my other ride, it's been a soldier. Not a single spin-out

 

LOL... did you use any MMA moves to break that ice up? Dang, we were just a bit too far south, and only got rain. I would love to get a good snow down here sometime.

 

Just an elbow or two to the ice... I'd use a Muay-Thai kick but the body panels are becoming scarce as hen's teeth...
