Sorry, been traveling and out for a while.

There are only certain companies that have the technology to break the code on the ecu. Diablosport and such won't bite on the research and code required to read/change the ecu on a out of production and decreasing population of cars. We have tried as well...

On your other question, yes the hardware/software is ungodly expensive. We have over 50k invested so far, and we are buying more soon.

Tuning w AEM and the like is night and day between the mercedes source code. I wish it was honestly easier. It is quite an effort just to find the correct maps to change fueling and the like, and thats after having the correct read maps as it is.

Star is a fun toy, nevertheless and DEV mode makes it even cooler to change options on the car and troubleshoot problems.
