I work on Volvos.... Our scan tool, VIDA (Vehicle Information and Diagnostics for Aftersales) is kinda like what STaR is for MBz... Unfortunately being in the American market, our "tuning" ability is very limited whereas if we were European market or Chinese market, then VIDA is a LOT more powerful. The point I'm getting to is it costs our dealership 6000$ a month to keep the damned thing turned on, so my question is it a one time investment on getting this hardware/software combination, or are we leasing a license?? If so, do Mercedes Blue Link come with it too?
