Whenever I the humidty gets high, I hear a pinging when I put a try to accelrate without the auto trans downshifting. In my part of Florida the humidity gets real high, my car pings like crazy. I'm hoping I don't get the "it's at company specs answer again". In reading about the aftermarket powerchip, it seems that the stock chip takes in temp and humidity, I think that's the problem.
