And another thing...I've noticed since the first day I had my Crossfire that if I open the door with the key (as opposed to the remote) I set of the alarm. It continues to sound until I start the car. It was mostly just an annoyance until yesterday when I went to start the car after being stored a couple months and the battery was too weak to crank it over. Not too weak, however, to set off the alarm (my remote was dead).

So there I was unable to start the car or turn off the alarm until the battery finally went all the way down...

there must be something this newbie doesn't know??
